Hey, I'm Neve and a Final Year BA(Hons)Illustration student at Falmouth University.

My creative practice has become significantly influenced by British youth culture, particularly taking inspiration from growing up in rural areas of the UK. These rather 'boring' areas of the world, led to my appreciation for creativity and curiosity when approaching creative opportunities, igniting this child-like feeling of approaching something new. As a more reserved female, my creative practice has become more and more chaotic, often feeling as though they speak for themselves, and therefore me. The act of creating has been an outlet in many ways, navigating grief and mental health, in the hope to connect with an audience of like-minded individuals to voice reassurance and acceptance for these feelings in a current anxious society.

Over the course of University and my Foundation year at Bath College, I have developed and pushed skills in digital artworks. I will always feel at home using traditional mediums such as acrylic paint with my most recent project experimenting with oils. I love working on a large scale and I am excited for creative opportunities as I continue to develop my practice.
